Your coworking booking app is getting an upgrade: Here's what changes from 14 August

Key takeaways

  • The gradual rebuild of Flexi's member app (Nexudus Passport) starts on 14 August, the update is automatic.

  • Your bookings and membership stay exactly as they are – per Nexudus's announcement, you lose nothing.

  • The new app brings faster bookings, biometric sign-in, on-screen QR check-in and push notifications, with a consistent experience across web and mobile.

  • What we see across our own operation: members don't interact with Flexi most at signup, but every time they book a room or walk through the door – which is exactly why the app matters.

On 14 August, something starts in the background that most Flexi members will first notice only as a slightly different screen on their phone one morning. That's the day Nexudus begins the gradual rollout of a fully rebuilt Passport – the coworking booking app you use at Flexi to reserve a meeting room, get through the door and manage your membership. If you're a freelancer, or running a small team from our spaces, this touches your daily routine, and you don't have to lift a finger for it.

Per Nexudus's July 2026 announcement, Passport has been rebuilt so that web and mobile deliver the same experience and new improvements reach both at once. The update arrives through the normal app-store update process and rolls out over several weeks – not everyone gets it on the same day. Nexudus won't commit to a precise date, because the release is staged and can vary by device.

What the new coworking booking app brings Flexi members

The announcement names several new features. For Flexi members, the ones tied to booking and access will be the most tangible:

Why does this matter? Because our members don't interact with Flexi most when they sign their contract. They interact with us every time they book a meeting room, reserve a desk or walk through our doors. These are the moments that happen again and again, week after week. While your office or desk stays the same, the booking experience is something you use every single day. That's why we believe it's worth making it as smooth and intuitive as possible.

The booking app isn't the reason you choose a coworking space. You choose the location, the workspace and the community. But it's something you rely on every time you book a desk or meeting room. When it works well, you barely notice it. When it doesn't, it gets in the way of the flexibility you're paying for. That's exactly why we're investing in making the experience simpler and more reliable.

How do you know if this applies to you?

  • You book meeting rooms or desks through the Flexi app most weeks.

  • You handle access and bookings from your phone, in English, on the move.

  • You run a small or international team and several of you share the same booking screen.

  • A booking that takes five taps instead of three genuinely annoys you.

  • You'd rather know what's changing before a different screen greets you one busy morning.

One thing you can do right now: open the app store on your phone and turn on automatic updates for the Passport (Nexudus) app. If it isn't on your phone yet, you can download it here: on iPhone from the App Store, on Android from Google Play. The new version then reaches you on its own as it rolls out to your device, instead of surprising you on a packed morning. If you work in a team, send your colleagues this one line too: „From mid-August our booking app gets an update – it's automatic, nothing to do, the interface will just look different."

We launched Flexi in 2021 to make office work more flexible through decentralised workspaces across Buda. But flexibility isn't just about location or membership plans. It should also be reflected in how easily you can book a desk, reserve a meeting room and access your workspace. This update is the next step in that.

If you haven't visited us yet, the best way is to see it in person. We're happy to give you a free tour and a test day at either location – Csévi Flexi Offices (Csévi utca 7/b, Pasarét) and Regina Villa (Bölöni György utca 22). Nothing captures the feel of the building and the neighbourhood better than seeing it live.
